Oatfields Services

Oatfields provides a range of facilities and services to enhance residents' enjoyment of the park. The park is open for 11 months of the year so that clients can enjoy the environment whether it is in the first months of spring or even the hazy lazy days of autumn. The park is available all year around for your get away.
The fantastic blue flag Morriscastle Beach and the neighboring beaches are the great wonder of the area stretching 6 unbroken miles in either direction. They are there to be enjoyed whatever the time of the year whether it’s swimming and building sand castles with the little ones in the summer or long walks in the autumn

Oatfields Golf Club

Oatfields has its own par 3 pitch and putt golf club available exclusively for residents use. The course is set over 11 acres and is a challenge for the more experienced enthusiast and younger members of the family.
Golf lessons are offered for adults and teenagers during July and August.

Oatfields Tennis Club

Oatfields Tennis Club is open all year around on our own Astro-Turf tennis courts. Competitions are run in July and August for all age groups.

Tennis lessons are also available for all members of the family.

Oatfields Landscaping

The entire park at Oatfields is spread over 23 acres providing for much more privacy and space between holiday homes.
The park is also fully landscaped and has a dedicated landscaping team that keep the park to the highest standards and ensure the park environment is there for your enjoyment whatever the time of year.

Oatfields Music Events, Food and Wine

On many evenings during the summer the park hold both musical events and food and wine tastings on the parks water feature. This year Jazz and Orchestral evenings framed the summer evenings.
The now annual wine tastings at Oatfields has become a park highlight. This year we showcased wines from Portugal, France, Argentina, New Zealand and Chile as well as some new cheeses from around the country.

Oatfields Childrens Programme

Great efforts are made to nurture children on the Park.
Oatfields runs a daily programme for children during the months of July and August. Sports and team events are part of the programme but Art, Musical Activities, Magic, Drama, Cooking and Nature are also included. Little ones are free to participate when they want.
This year older and younger children staged both The Lion King and Grease.
There is a strong emphasis on the environment in the programme. Beach and nature walks are undertaken each week.
Animation also forms part of the programme. This year Oatfields was fortunate to have one of the lead animators from the "Monsters Inc" movie to teach animation for the 6-12 year olds.

Oatfields Playgrounds

Oatfields has two state of the art Hags playground for both the younger age groups of 3-6 and older children of 7-14.
The playgrounds are fully safety certified and accredited to the highest European safety standards.
The park also has an Astro Turf five a side football pitch for tournaments that are run for all age groups in June, July and August.

Oatfields Business Centre and Wireless Networking

Many clients of the park like to enjoy the summer on the park while working and often commuting to work. To cater for this Oatfields has a fully equipped business center with 24mb broadband, fax and wireless networking facilities.

There is also a 3G wireless network built around the park if you want to work while on the park itself.

Laundry Services

There is a fully equipped laundry on the park. Serviced laundry is also available for clients where they want to free up their own leisure time.

Herb Garden

Mint, parsley, oregano, thyme, fennel, dill and other herbs perfume the air around the herb garden, which is grown for residents use.
There are some excellent local producers of food in the area during the summer months producing some fantastic local cheeses and meats.

Oatfields Security

The Park's security team ensures that the environment on the park is always quiet and peaceful. We are very proud of the family friendly environment that has been created at Oatfields and that this is consistently maintained for all clients of the park.

Electronic wooden gates and security cameras at the entrance add to the safety and exclusiveness of the Park.

In addition the full time Park Manager and his team monitor each holiday home during the whole year when owners are not in residence.
